Okay, so I have made two necklaces this past week, and I can't post a pic because, well, I have no camera at my disposal. Sounds dumb, huh? One is a lattice-like blue and white beaded necklace with a silver heart in the middle that my boyfriend gave me for Valentine's Day. . . It's very lovely, if I do say so myself. lol The other is a hematite and wood necklace that I made for him. . .

So, I requested a piece of art from my girlfriend for Christmas. She had over two weeks to get it done, and only had plans for two or three days. I love her, and I'm thrilled she agreed to do the work. My only problem was that when I recieved it, it was NOT her best work. It was nowhere near her best work. Basically, it was crap that she threw together as fast as she possibly could and I was VERY upset that she didn't put much effort into it. *sighs* I'm doing my own version of the same characters in the same pose, much as I did Tahara and Adimora just to show what I mean. I plan on posting in the next few days. *sighs* I know she could've done better, and that's the only reason I'm upset. If it'd been her best work, I'd love it (no matter the anatomical problems).

I've been in this complete funk the last few days. Not really sure why, but I woke up in it. It SUCKS!!!

Anyway, in my effort to get out of said "funk," I've been trying to draw something, anything to no avail. Right? Well come to find out that just because my humans suck somethin' fierce right now, it seems my tribal and an my symbol sketches absolutely ROCK!!!

So I'm rather proud of my latest tattoo design. sIt's an interesting concept on the Celtic Trinity Knot, or the Triquetra. It's techniquely a symbol for the the three aspects of the Goddess, the triplicities of mind/body/spirit, and the triplicities of earth/sky/sea. Although, I've modified it a bit from the "stylized" form that it is usually shown in, and I added bubbles! lol I'll try to upload it in the next few days.

My other is a collaboration with Angela. It has the three moon phases laid out, side-by-side, tribal laid out behind it (I love the tribal band), a small circle on each side, and a funny little star symbol that Angela LOVES to draw on each side. It's been done for a week or two now, but I plan on waiting for at least a month, checking it out again, and if I still love it, then I'll get it. Not really sure where at though. . . *puzzles over the dilemma* I'll post it soon, too. I'd love the feedback on where it should go.

Working on sketching up a persona idea that's been running rampant in my head for over a month now. I've got the basics all laid out, and a simply sketch done, but I'm trying to flesh out exact characteristics. I know that she's a part of me. Problem is that I'm not sure how others see me, so how do I want to show this part of myself.

Personal notes on Seda Foxx:
* Gargoyle/half-dragon form.
* Five horns sprouting from brow-bone. Outside about 6 inches, then two, and middle is four inches tall. All curl slightly toward the back.
* Pointed, full ears with two semi-circular "cut-outs" on the edge of each ear.
* Three spikes on each forearm.
* Tattered wings, pretty much useless with all the tears.
* "Finned" tail, with bone spikes that flare out with skin flaps attached. Three spikes one each side that get shorter the closer they get to the tip.
* Innocent, but sexy. Kinda the unaware type. . .
* Dark blue hair, reaches bottom of shoulderblade.
* Silver skin tone
* Inner wing color matches hair color.

I'm working through a horrible case of artist block and have actually managed to draw something that looks beautiful. Unfortunately I'm unable to figure out exactly what my girl should be wearing. I always design my characters naked first (which gets me a lot of comment from anyone who sees my drawings), and have this horrible time with getting them dressed. I hate doing folds. *chuckles* I'm thinking of a modified T-shirt and some shorts, but I've not decided yet.
